Pre-employment Screening
Prospective electricians and apprentices undergo the following multi-step evaluation process prior to hiring:
- Licenses and certifications must be presented and are verified with the appropriate state authorities.
- Independent-lab drug testing is conducted. Unlimited Electric maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy.
- An in-depth background check and driving abstract are obtained on all final candidates.
Licensing and Apprentice Program
- All technicians carry the appropriate licensing as prescribed in state codes.
- Apprentices are accompanied by licensed supervisors, and their work is consistently double-checked.
- Apprentices accumulate trainee hours under supervision, and are allowed to work independently only after successful completion of Oregon State examinations.
Continuing Education
- Regular advanced certification courses are conducted and designations are earned.
- Mandatory attendance is required for product and emerging technology training administered by manufacturer's representatives and other specialists.
